Do You Know Improv’Everywhere ? No ? Yes, you do. If you know what is a Flashmob, you’ve certainly seen the Frozen Grand Central video ? On the vid above is their last impro. They used some invisible dog leach, which is a prank toy used in the 70′s, and hundreds of people walked their invisible dog down the streets of a Brooklyn. Of course people started wandering WTF was going on. Some played the game nicely and even dropped some water. But what is interesting is that when there is a flashmob now, people wants to know what those flashmobbers want to promote. Marketing has used a good idea to sell products. A real flashmob should sell nothing excepts absurdity, stupideness and good time. Here are some of the funniest or best impro by Improv’Everywhere I’ve seen.
Here they took 40 listening station in a Virgin MegaStore. Stupid and efficient :
“Best gig ever,” principle is “Pick a struggling rock band and turn their small gig into the best show of their lives.” turning a concert where only 3 people showed up to 43 spectators.
A subway car with identical twins, creating a human mirror.
And of course : over 200 people freeze in place on cue in Grand Central Station in New York.
And the last, but a funny one : infamous U2 rooftop spoof.
