Here is one of the most exciting project on the Internet this year ! (or should I say : Here is a project I’m the most excited about!)
Fans from around the world are joining forces to recreate the classic, Star Wars: A New Hope. The entire movie is split up into 15 second scenes. Claim a scene, film it, and upload it! When it’s all done, it’ll be stitched together so we can watch the magic happen.
I want to join in ! And You ?
The result could look like one of the Sueded movie versions we can see in Be Kind Rewind by Michel Gondry. (Only more sketchy) I can’t wait to see the movie when it will be over. I’m sure there would be some real nice pieces of creativity.
This project was created by Casey Pugh this summer 2009. At the moment, I’m writing 322 scenes are already finished, 1313 are taken, and there is only 147 scenes free. So you have to hurry up if you want to participate. Here is the website : [Star Wars Uncut]
