The White Tape Project is simple : recycle some old magnetic tapes, paint them white and draw something on them. I said simple, and I love the designs too.

L’idée me plait.

The Nadeau technique is like Yoga, except you swing, you roll, you move your body. It helps you feel young again. Or it makes you laugh. Or both. Or just laugh in fact. It’s still better than nothing.

I understand that my chipmunk photography can seem unbelievable at times, and I’m used to getting questions such as « How did you do that? » and « Is it all Photoshop? »

As this video will show, it’s all happening right there in front of the camera. I get no satisfaction out of a composited photo—the challenge for me is to capture the chipmunk engaged in a real and rather extraordinary situation. And keep in mind that this is a wild chipmunk, not my pet.

In 1985, two American men began distributing a video they compiled lampooning Tilton and his ostensible conversations with God. The video exploits Tilton’s facial expressions and preaching style. Entitled Pastor Gas, the video featured a medley of footage from Success-N-Life overdubbed with well-timed sound effects of flatulence. Unofficial VHS copies of the video circulated in the United States through the late 1980s under such titles as Heaven Only Knows, The Joyful Noise, and The Farting Preacher. After the hosts of The Mark & Brian Show, a radio program in Los Angeles, mentioned the video on the air, the video’s authors saw the market potential and began selling official copies of their creation. Similar videos have since been made in more recent times using more recent footage of Tilton and are distributed throughout the internet, all under the Farting Preacher name. The video distribution (including digital bootlegs distributed online) expanded public awareness of Robert Tilton and his controversial television ministry. [Wikipedia]

I installed an ant colony inside my scanner five years ago.
I scanned the nest each week.

Super-8 Fan Film made by kids on Cape Cod in 1978. Watch out for that vacuum cleaner weapon! Voices added 25 years later by some of the original cast .

J’adore, ça me rend nostalgeek.

L’invention a l’air amusante à utiliser.

The SMSlingshot is wooden device that was designed to create situations of digital augmented urban drift (Dérive). It is equipped with an ultra-high frequency radio, hacked micro processor board, a laser-pointer and batteries. A text messages can be typed on a phone-sized wooden keypad which is integrated in the also wooden slingshot. After the message is finished, people can aim on a media facade and send/shoot the message straight to the targeted point. It will then appear as a colour splash with the message written within. The text message will also be real-time twittered to link up real and virtual worlds.
