This video is a parody of the Social Network Trailer (video below) using the biggest viral video of the Internet.  « The Scala Choir’s haunting cover of Radiohead’s « Creep » adds a certain sinister drama to the trailer that we’re not sure the story can live up to.  » But in my mind, this video is just the representation of the human condition and it gives a poetic vision of it.

With the first clip, I felt so sad, like the hamster was dying or something. D: And it was like keyboard cat was playing this song. And the Star Wars kid? It was like he was protecting his nation from the enemy. And when the panda sneezed, it looked like it did one of those startling dying-coughs, and the mom was afraid it would die as it slowly rested its head back to the ground again. The Coke and Mentos were like some sort of dramatic tribute… What is this I don’t even. D8

The song is about modern alienation, the heightened sense of disconnect we all experience from being « connected » in our modern technologically-driven lives. This video is unintentionally brilliant.
