Alma est un court-métrage de Rodrigo Blaas qui est visible en ligne juste pour la période de Noël. C’est une jolie petite animation qui vous divertira 5’30. Je pense en particulier à ceux et celles qui passeront Noël seuls. Ce petit court-métrage ne vous permettra certainement pas d’avoir le coeur plus léger, mais il vous donnera une raison de plus de detester les fabricants de poupées.

Qu’y a-t-il de plus effrayant que les poupées ? Pas grand chose, à part les poupons peut-être. Bref, j’ai toujours trouvé que les poupées hyper réalistes étaient hyper flippantes. C’est peut-être ce qui explique le succès des poupées Barbie. Par contre, je ne comprendrais jamais la fascination pour les bébés en plastique.

Alma is Rodrigo Blaas’ first short film as a director. Originally from Spain, Rodrigo Blaas has worked in animation for more than ten years, in Spain and in the United States.

Seizing the possibility of directing his first independent short film, Rodrigo Blaas asked some of the best artists in their field to take part in this independent project: French animator Bolhem Bouchiba, character designer Carlos Grangel and Sergio Pablos, ArtDirector Alfonso Blaas, music composer Mastretta and sound designer Tom Myers.
