MUTO is a short film by Blu. It is an animation in stop-motion painted on public walls. The movie was made in Buenos Aires and in Baden. Here the paintings are alive and invade the city. Blu’s characters are half human, half machine, half beast, and human elements such as limbs (tooth, hands etc.) can live freely their autonomous life, a bit like insects. I’m just hypnotised by that kind of animation. And I also like to watch the marks of white paint left behind the characters.
